It is not only the interesting place where attracts people from all around the world but also the place full of the unique culture, courtesy and lifestyle of local people including Thai foods which make ‘Krabi’ be one of the travelling destinations for spending great weekends as always.
The most famous activity in Krabi is ‘diving’, exclusively for the ones who loves underwater world since Krabi is enclosed with both places for snorkeling and scuba diving. Moreover, rock-climbing at Railay beach and kayaking along the gulf are also well-known.
Krabi International Airport International Airport under the Department of Civil Aviation is available for both Thai and foreigner passengers coming to relax and travel in Krabi Province and other provinces nearby.
Climate - The average temperature is approximate 25 – 35 Celsius which the area climate is not as hot in summer and not as cold in winter.
High-Season - The tourism season in Krabi covers all over the year. However, the best time to visit Krabi starts from November to the beginning of May since the storming season is during June to October.
City Transportation

Train : Depart from Bangkok Railway Station (as known as Hua Lamphong Station) to the nearest train station named Tung Song, Nakhon Sri Thammarat province. Then, the transfer by road is required to get into Krabi.

Hong Island or ‘Ko Lao Bile’ is the island with beautiful landscape, enclosed with the deep blue sea and coral all along the island. The point of interest is at ‘Ao Pile’, beach with the shape of flying bird, white smooth sand, clear emerald sea and schooling fish. Furthermore, it is one of the top ten best island in tourism attraction and cleanliness for kayaking and snorkeling activities.
Bamboo Island a small island in the middle of the sea, located in the area of Nopparat Thara National Park - Phi Phi Islands. The atmosphere is very calm with clear water and beautiful coral reefs. This island is the Ideal place for snorkeling and experiencing the beauty of the underwater world. The ideal month to visit this island starts from November to April of each year
Tips: Travelers who would like to sleep overnight on the bamboo island. Please contact the tourism service center on the island, but you have to bring along some food and drink.
Rok Island dual islands connected to Trang Sea. A set of two small islands features long beach with Soft sand. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic. Under the Sea is full of coral abundance that is the habitat of the clownfish and anemones. At the Scenic Area of Rok Island is the place where man can visualize a bay curved like a horseshoe suitable for being Sunset view spot.
Chicken Island one of the three islands creates sand dunes or 'separated sea'. The main feature is on the stone shaped like a chicken neck and snorkeling spots on the back of the island and then go by a roundabout route to the front of the island to see the separated sea.
Pot Island - Tup Island two small islands linked together during low tide seen as the white dunes, one of Unseen Thailand. This island is a place for docking the long-tailed boat and a tourist speedboat too.
Poda Island is a beautiful big island and a highlight of the Krabi Sea ever. This island features Soft white sand and clear blue sea and is a Perfect place for vacation and swimming rather than for snorkeling. Including major events like walking along the sea during low tide of the day.

Popular Destinations "Unseen Thailand"
Emerald Pool a beautiful pond in the heart of the forest filled with crystal clear turquoise water changing the color according to the time of the day and lighting conditions caused by stream of warm water as three hot ponds (Emerald Pool - Glass Pool - Blue Pool) with temperatures around 30-50 degrees Celsius, surrounded by tropical jungle and nature trail.
Tha Pom Klong Song Nam during 12th day of the waxing moon to 15th day of the waning moon, the sea water will go into the canal fort, mix with fresh water in the canal becoming opaque blue and become natural phenomena as clear green streams, sparkling like some crystal rod from being replaced by fresh water. Another attraction is a root of trees along the canal meanders along its banks that are quite very quaint.
Khao Khanabnam The two hills are about 100 metres high on two sides of the Krabi river. Khao Khanabnam is the symbol of Krabi province. You can go along the river seeing the hills and mangrove forest or canoeing and sightseeing natural green surrounding. There’s village of Kho Klang in which local lifestyle exists. Who loves original local lifestyle should never miss.
Nopparathara Beach It is located in Nopparathara Beach National Park. The PP island group is the central harbor to travel along each island in Krabi. Its beach is find sand and small sea shells surrounded by rows of pine trees along the beach. Here is also one of the biggest habitat of Wing Shell in Krabi.
Hot running water flows across the cool and pleasant lowland forest (exist only one in Thailand). The small waterfall which water temperature is 42 degrees celcius sometimes you will see vapor over the surface of water. It is allowed to swim but it is quite steep and slip. There is hot water pool built for tourists bath and relax. It is said that good for health as if natural spa surrounded by shady forest.
Tips: Should not bath more than 20 minutes. Fitting room is available nearby hot water pool.
Tha Lane Gulf The World Green Tourist place and one of the best for kayaking in the world! The magnificent nature of the mountain and the mangrove forest including animals(long-tailed Macaque and bat) which can be seen closely. It is suitable place for kayak, relax and sightseeing on holidays.
Maya Gulf Heaven on earth…one of big island in PP island group which is popular in foreign tourist group. It is a small in-let gulf crescent moon like-shape.Its beach is fine sand as if pearl powder and the sea is green and clear like the emerald. It is another attractive tourist place in Krabi.
Losama Gulf The narrow gulf which is one of popular places for diving in Andaman sea. The sea water is emerald green and clear that you can see various kinds of coral under water. The atmosphere is serene. The small beach for laying down and listen to the sound of the surf crashing and rolling onto the beach.
Phranang cave The cave enshrined the sacred goddess which local fishermen respect. From inside the cave when you see through the entrance, you will see beautiful rows of stalactite, big sea and line of islands. It is one of the most amazing sightseeing view during sunset in Thailand.
Tips: It is windy, high wave and lots of jellyfish in rainy season.
Viking cave The wide cave in which there are beautiful stalactite and stalacmite. It is also habitat of swallow and concession area for bird nest harvest. Inside the cave there’s ancient painting which is assumed the work of pirates and seamen. The demonstration of harvesting bird nest is available for tourist group.

Highlight in Krabi
‘Mu Ko Lanta Marine National Park’ consists of several important islands. The tourist season is in during November-May.
Ko Lanta Noi an island has a community of Lanta’s people in the past, who still practice their traditional way of life. And there are ancient ship homes to be seen.
Ko Lanta Yai is a commercial center of the island. There is everything offering of services for touring. There are beautiful beaches and bays lining. There is a road cutting through the Port of Long Beach to the Mu Ko Lanta National Park Office located at the south end of the island.
Susan Hoi a large stone courtyard extending into the sea which has the accumulation of fossil shells becoming rocky beach along the beach. By geology calculation, the fossil approximately 40 million years ago. (Excellent!)
Railay Beach a powder-white sand beach along the cliffs where is well known among tourists, particularly cliffs climbing activity. It devides as East Railay and West Railay, which is seperated by rocks. There are accommodations for tourists along the beach area.

Separated Sea ... Unseen Thailand, that is the world famous spot. So this area has been known as one of the best swimming spot of Krabi Sea. The tourist season starts from November to early May of the following year.

7 Hills to see stars
Chiangrai is well-known for beautiful landscape especially high hills at the end of horizon surrounded by sea mist and winter breeze which always attract tourists to visit once in a lifetime. That’s the reason why tourists always have the idea to travel here.
Doi Chang The biggest place to see cherry blossom : There are more than 500,000 Wild Himalayan trees or known as Thai sakura, coffee gardens, sightseeing points, sacred water pool and the Buddha statues are enshrined.
Tips: Wild Himalayan flowers bloom during winter season (the end of December – February)
Doi Mae Salong Location of the village of Santikhiri or formerly known as Doi Mae Salong, the villagers migrated from Myanmar. Its attractiveness are tea plantation and tea production, horse riding to see around the village and blooming Wild Himalayan flowers, which you can see only in winter season, along the way up to the hill.
Doi Pha Tang Thai-Lao sightseeing point is at height of 1,635 meters. Here you can see sea mist whole year. The villages of Chin Ho and Hmong people locate here. There are various kinds of temperate plants for example Chinese plum, peach, Chinese pear, apple and tea. You also see cherry blossom here from December to January.
Doi Wawee You can feel the simple way of life of Chinese community here and also can see tea and temperate fruits plantation in descending order along the hill in serene atmosphere. Next to the village there’s ‘Doi Kad Pee’ sightseeing point from which you can see thick sea mist floating in the valley and magnificent Doi Chang mountain range.
Doi Hua Mae Kham The big village of hill tribe is located here. From the village there’s sightseeing point from which you can see sunrise and beautiful sea mist. The hightlight which you should never missed in November is blooming bright yellow ‘Mexican sunflower’ along the hill.
Doi Chang Mub The highest hill of the Nang Non mountain range. Here the weather is comfortably cold whole year. Doi Chang Mub was developed to be the Arboretum park where there are collections of local plants and rare wild trees for example Azalea, Wild Himalayan,Lady’s Slipper. These were growed naturally among pine forest from which you can see the Khong River.
Doi Tung Previously this is the hill which was deforested by hill tribe. Currently it is improved to be the Doi Tung Development Project according to the royal idea. The project runs reforestation, temperate vegetables plantation, agriculture, coffee and macadamia plantation and support hill tribe to work here instead of opium plantation.
The conquest of Phu Chi Fa ‘Phu Chi Fa Forest Park’ is the most popular sunrise and sea mist sightseeing point in Chiangrai. Phu Chi Fa is a hill of which shape of the top looks like direct point to the sky,on its top there is a grassland and its cliff is slop towards Laos border.During winter season the sceneary looks more magnificent.
TIPS You can stayat Ban Rom Fah Thong Tang (1.5 kms from sightseeing point). From here you can walk up to Phu Chi Fa at dawn and see Wild Himalayan blossom along the way (January to February) and blooming Orchid tree flowers on the hill(February)

7 Tea Plants & Gardens Up North
Boonrawd Farm or known as ‘Singh Park’. It is agrotourism place where there is beautiful nature in the northern valley atmosphere. There are many kinds of plants: fruits, Oolong tea, dry crops, vegetables including various kinds of flowers which were arranged for tourists to take photo. The last activity of the program is to have dinner and see sunset at Phu Pirom restaurant.
101 Tea Plantation Tea gardens on Doi Mae Salong: You will see tea plantations on the hills as if fresh green staircase sloping down to the hill of which the mountain range is the background and sea mist at dawn. You can taste and buy one of the best international teas.

Golden Triangle Or known as ‘Sob Ruak’ where the rivers from Thailand, Myanmar and Laos join the same stream linking to the three countries. If you want to see from birdeye view, you have to go to Doi Chiang Miang from which you can see graceful impressive view whole year.

15 ancient temples.
Wat Mahathat Phra Prang Wat Mahathat established during the early Ayutthaya period. The temple is Influenced by Khmer style architecture. There are many Buddha relics located at the base of Phra Prang temple.
Wat Phu Khao Thong During that period, Burengnong moved the troops to Ayutthaya. Pagoda Golden Moutain was established to be memorial. Later the King Borommakot was ordered to repair and restoring the temple in Thai style architecture.
Wat Na Phramen It is the only temple in Ayutthaya, which was not destroyed by the Burmese, because this was the cantonment location of God Bago.
Wat Chaiwatthanaram This temple has been hailed as one of the most magnificent temples in Ayutthaya. Architecture and construction are different from other temples. It is situated at the side of the Chao Phraya River. Currently, the Fine Arts Department has restored the temple. Therefore, tourists would see the magnificence of the temple clearly.
Wat Mongkhon Bophit Another temple of which tourists come here to visit and to worship is "Luang Pho Mongkolbophit". The front area of the temple is full of shops selling local products for almost all types, such as carp, wicker, rattan, knife woods, preserves and sweets. This place is ideal for travelers who want to enjoy the beauty of the temple and buy souvenirs at the same time.
Wat Phra Ram It was built in the reign of King Ramet. The monastery has a big lagoon, which was previously called 'Shi Khan Lagoon'. But the name was later changed to 'Rama Lagoon'. At present, this place is the location of the park "Rama Lagoon", which is a place for recreation of residents and tourists visiting Bangkok.
Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon Naresuan palace is the location of the King which is a major attraction for the devotee to worship located at the rear side of this temple. It has the tallest pagoda in Ayutthaya and considered one of the most important historical places that stand on the top list of favorite place to visit for tourists.
Wat Niwet Thammaprawat It was built by imitating Western style Church and was served as a royal temple alongside Bang Pa In Palace. The architecture of the temple is based on the concept of Gothic. The chapel has a spire and glass walls which let the light shine through. The chapel is also the enshrined location of the Buddha statue called 'Phra Buddha Narumon Dhammawophas' found in meditation posture sitting in a booth "Ruean Kaew".

Wat Lokkayasutharam Inside the temple, there is the statue of the reclining Buddha with 42 meters long and 8 meters high. His face turned to the north. His head is supported by lotus. His feet overlap each other at right angles.
Wat Phutthaisawan It is a monastery, which is spacious and famous. This temple is another one that was not destroyed by Burmese. Currently, there are also many historical sites for visiting.
Wat Suwandararam For tourists who are interested in the beauty of the murals, there are oil paintings, which is quite realistic, and gracefully created by a combination of Thai painting style and the style that was influenced by Western. It has been said that this is the first place to have oil painting on the wall in Thailand.
Wat Thammikarat Nearby the ancient palace. In the present time, Monks are actively servicing the temple. At the north of the monastery is the location of the famous reclining Buddha, which regularly attracts many devotees coming here to worship. This area also is the location of the Singh siege stucco, which is elegant and rare in Thailand as well.
Wat Phanan Choeng It is also known as 'Phra Nang Choeng Temple', which is an important ancient temple, is widely famous and also features a statue of Luang Pho To (Phra To), an ancient respectable monk of Ayudhya, that gained respect from both Thai and foreign Buddhists. So, it is not surprising that this temple is always packed with people from all over the world.
Wat Phra Sri Sanphet There are no monks stays in the Phra Prang temple. It is the place keeping the ashes of the king as in the Emerald temple in Bangkok. Even though nowadays only some parts of building left, it still attracts tourists towards it.
Wat Maheyong Mountain mound temple has been served as a royal monastery. It was built in the reign of King Sam Phraya. In addition to its spacious area, the temple also has a spacious chapel that can hold more than 1,000 monks.

Koh Phangan... One of the famous islands in Suratthani Province. It is located 100 kilometers away from Suratthani Province. The island is full of magnificent beaches and fascinating nature. Facilities are available: shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment centers, accommodations and world famous beach parties such as ‘Full Moon Party’, which is usually held at Rin Nok Beach, the most well-known beach on the island and also the most beautiful moon sighting place in the world. There’re more interesting tourist places waiting for you.
TIPS The most famous souvenir in Koh Phangan is coconut oil, five stars OTOP. It is said that you should buy coconut oil when you visit Koh Phangan, otherwise it seems like you has never been here.
Suratthani Province Or known as ‘Muang Roi Koh’ (Land of 100 islands ) . It is one of tourist provinces of Thailand. There are many islands such as Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and abundant natural resources. Currently it is the center of tourism of southern gulf of Thailand. Millions of both foreigners and Thais visit hear each year.
TIPS Suratthani province is famous for ‘ Chaiya salted eggs’ ‘Oyster’ and ‘Rambutan’
Don Mueang International Airport the airport located in the city of Bangkok is available for both Thais and foreigners. Nowadays service focuses on domestic flight and few flights to nearby countries. Service is always available for domestic flight.
Suratthani Airport International Airport under the Department of Civil Aviation is available for both Thai and foreigner passengers coming to relax and travel in Suratthani Province and other provinces nearby.

• High season February to April is a suitable period for tourism. October to January is a monsoon period, not appropriate for tourism. You should check a weather forecast before going out.
How to go Bangkok - Koh Phangan Koh Phangan is an island. You have to drop by at Suratthani Province and travel by boat to Koh Phangan.

Airplane – From Don Mueang Int. Airport, select domestic flight to fly directly to Suratthani Int. Airport in about 1 hour.
Bus – From Bangkok Southern Bus terminal to Suratthani Bus Terminal in about 10 hours. Then take other buses to Donsak District to get on the boat to Koh Phangan.
TIPS Recommend you to travel at night to reach Suratthani in the morning.
Train : From Hua Lamphong Train Station to Suratthani Train Station, then take the bus to Donsak District.

Nakorn Ratchasima Or ‘Korat’ is the access point to North East of Thailand. Climate The weather is sweltering in summer, but cold in the night and during winter. The average temperature is 22-23˚Celsius.

Getting to Khaoyai from Bangkok There is no airport at Khaoyai, so the travelers as passengers should start from Suvannabhumi airport for their convenience and security especially the foreigners.

TIPS Using Paholyothin Road, then turning right to Mittraparp Road and turning right before arriving Pak Chong. Heading to highway number 2090 ( Thanarat highway) about 20 kilometres.
Bus – From Bangkok to Nakorn Ratchasima- There are departing buses from 4.00 am to 8.00 pm every 20 minutes (Trip duration is about 2 hours 15 minutes). Then, you can hire a cab to Khao Yai which departs every 30 minutes and cost 30 Baht.
Train – From Hualampong station to Pak Chong station is about 5 hours.
Van – From Victory monument to Pak Chong is about 2 hours. There are departing vans every 2 hours. Tickets costs 160 Baht per person.

Ivy Gourd Noodle The identity if this shop is that they use Ivy Gourd instead of cabbage or the morning glory that we normally eat in Thailand with noodles. The Ivy Gourd vegetable can help neutralize a fever and help sooth itching and burning. They are both, helpful and delicious.
Tong Tem To restaurant In Chiang Mai, it is a small table full of many kinds of foods which is traditionally had by locals. Second-to-none delicious food is served here. In a shady garden, you can relax and listen to music while enjoying the special food from the menu. For example, Fried Streaky Pork with Fish Sauce and Curry Vegetables with Ant Eggs. Guaranteed deliciousness.
Fried chicken with Kaffir lime leaves In a special restaurant on Nimmanhaemin Road, they use kaffir lime leaves and lemon coriander root to marinate the chicken overnight. Fried promptly until they have a delicious aroma. The chicken meat is so delicious that is will have you craving more. They also have papaya salad dishes with prices starting at only 15 Baht.
Nimman Deep-fried dough stick or Youtiao nimman- Is only 10 baht. The shop has been operating for more than 15 years and it's popularity has never decreased. Customers are attracted by large pairs of Deep-fried dough sticks that come with soya milk. The small one is only 3 Baht. You can have it eat in or takeaway if you'd like.
Day5 : Great Places for Hipsters
Koland Café This shop combines food manufacturing and art together. The shop is finely decorated and has fantastic foods. Don't miss the special meal, a flower salad known as Gaysorn Mamiao. We are pretty sure that you will be surprised by the food quality here. So, don't forget to check it out!
Nori – Nakara Okujou Robata & Izakaya The only roof bar in Nimmanhaemin Road with a great atmosphere that's hard to explain. Rated 5 stars, the decor is warm and romantic. An ideal place to take your sweetheart out for dinner. You can have a 180-degree view of Chiang Mai while enjoying the Japanese foods and fresh drinks. This meal will be beyond your expectations.
Larb Bar Lab bar- Is fantastic with its design and decoration. There are certain recommended meals here, especially the Pork mixed with Chili Sauce and the Ground Pork Salad served with Roasted Vegetables. These are a must for foreigners!

Apart from their many signature cocktails, such as the “Rainbow Shot” (7 shots with 7 colors), the bar is on the mountaintop allowing you to see the night lights and a have a view of Doi Suthep.
Roof Bar High class decoration while still keeping a friendly price. Don't forget to order the signature “spongy beer" (Jello Beer). Coffee Bar after Sunset (CBS) Starting out as a small coffee shop, now turned into a popular bar. Feel comfortable in the wood bar seats while enjoying your alcohol drink.
